Darryl Fisher - President/Pilot/Co Founder

I always just thought airplanes were part of life. Planes weren’t much different than the family car. I got my pilot’s license in 1983 when I was 19. Since then I’ve gotten commercial, multiengine, flight instructor, and seaplane ratings. My favorite plane to fly is the one I happen to be in. Nothing replaces the magic of a Dream Flight in a Stearman, but just from a pure flight standpoint, I love flying my J3 Cub. It’s just pure flying.

Clint Cawley - Pilot

Clint grew up surrounded by aviation at South Prairie Airport in Washington. He began flight training at 14 in his family’s PA-11 Cub with his uncle and dad as primary instructors. He soloed on his 16th birthday; got his private licence shortly thereafter; and continued flight school, with the goal of becoming an airline pilot.

Clint achieved that goal and is now an Embraer E175 captain at SkyWest Airlines. “I’m based in Seattle, live at South Prairie Airport and fly every chance I can get,” he says. “I have flown many different airplanes, and my favorite is still the Stearman with stock 225hp Lycoming engine.”

Steve Brigance - General Council

Steve started his legal career with an independent federal agency 40-plus years ago. While with an independent federal agency, he won a precedent-setting $1 billion case against a major transportation company. He went on to private practice in Washington D.C. with a large premier D.C. law firm. From there, he went to Texas to serve as general counsel of litigation for a large RR company. Steve then established his own law firm and became, among other things, outside general counsel for a large midwestern utility company.

In 2000, Steve joined a large long-term care company as their general counsel of litigation. There, he set up an unprecedented regional counsel structure and partnered with the company’s board of directors, CEO, and business heads, along with risk managers, claims handlers, and insurance providers, to establish an unparalleled defense system, which became a benchmark for long-term care insurance providers and their insured companies.

Since 2006, Steve has been head of his own company, Litigation Solutions Group, which advises companies nationally on large litigation resolution and business redesign. He also established and continues to lead 4ourelders, Inc., a company designed to assist the long-term care industry and its customers in improving care and service. He also serves as outside general counsel for a non-long-term health care company.
