What Is Legacy Airbase?
A Tribute in Flight. A Home for Heroes.

Legacy Airbase is an upcoming historical landmark and community cornerstone, soon to rise at the Dayton Valley Airpark in Dayton, Nevada. More than just a destination, it is a living tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of America’s veterans—past, present, and future.

Join us on this meaningful journey as we bring Legacy Airbase to life. Designed to replicate the atmosphere of a WWII-era military base, the Airbase will be a place where stories are shared, memories are honored, and generations connect in the name of service and remembrance.

Construction on Phase 1 is now underway, and our groundbreaking ceremony will be announced soon. This is more than a build—it’s the beginning of a movement.

You can help write history. Brick by brick. Flight by flight. Story by story.

We believe in the power of flight to inspire, heal, and bring joy to those who have served our country.

Honoring Veterans with Legacy Flights

Since 2024, Legacy Airbase has been lifting spirits and preserving memories through Legacy Flights—free 20-minute flights in a beautifully restored T-6 aircraft for veterans of all generations.

Currently stationed at the personal hangar of Legacy Airbase founder Darryl Fisher, the T-6 will soon make its permanent home at Legacy Airbase once construction is complete. These flights take veterans soaring thousands of feet above ground, allowing them to relive their flying days or experience the thrill of flight for the very first time.

Legacy Flights are more than a journey through the skies—they are a heartfelt salute. Each flight is a thank-you to our nation’s humble heroes for their bravery, service, and sacrifice. They are a way to say, “You are not forgotten,” and to secure their legacies for future generations of Americans.

Even before the airbase has opened its doors, the mission is in motion. Legacy Airbase has traveled to select cities to deliver these unforgettable experiences, keeping its commitment to veterans alive every single day.
